On February 12, 2005, Emily Bigham and her friend Jason came up to the mountains from Atlanta for some winter fishing. Since they were staying in Waynesville, NC, we targeted the West fork Pigeon River. We got lucky with the weather: 50 degrees and bluebird skies had the fish on the feed--Jason netted 10+ fish and Emily (who'd never fly fished before) managed a couple of her own.
