Back in March of 2006 Steve Nichting found himself on a business trip to Asheville, NC with some time on his hands. Somehow, he found the Altamont Anglers site and decided it was time to try fly fishing. Stoked by his experience (relive it here) , he returned in May, '06 accompanied by 3 of his business associates (the man with the lucky fly in May was Dan Bunnell). It would seem there's a fishing gene in the pool of this company, as they've returned this March--business must be good--and grown the fishing "team" to 5 anglers. The hot hands on this occasion appear to have been Carl Apicella and Jeff Helvey, or maybe the lesson is to be sure you catch the big one when the guide who has a camera is nearby. Thanks to Altamont Anglers' guides Teo Whitlock and Travis Honeycutt for a good job spotting trout!

Here's Carl Apicella on the Davison River on Monday, March 27, 2007 holding a nice brownie (click the image for a larger view)...
