We were recently invited by the folks at The Charleston Angler, the premier fly shop in Charleston, SC, to do a presentation on the trout fishing in our area. The group that turned out included avid salt-water anglers, salt-water guides, and other interested parties (we were particularly impressed by the lack of snoring during our slide-show), and we must have said something good, because we've had a nice response to the presentation.
Two of those "responders" were Bob and Pat White, who called us soon after our visit to book two days of fly-fishing instruction during the fall "leaf" season. Altamont Anglers' guide Teo Whitlock took Bob and Pat over to the Davidson River for the first day's initiation to fresh-water, trout angling and then guided them the second day on the West Fork Pigeon River. Bob and Pat appear to have been quick learners, as the pictures they sent us confirm.
