Join Teo in Chile's Angling Paradise

the letter A, completing the word Altamont

ltamont Anglers' head guide Teo Whitlock will host an angling adventure you'll never forget! Join Teofor an excursion into one of the finest fly fishing areas in the world, the Coyhaique region of Chile. From Santiago, Chile we'll catch the connecting flight to Balmaceda, Chile (a 3 hour flight with a stop in Puerto Montt) where we will be met by Jose Marti and his staff. They will provide the ground transfer to our "headquarters" at one of 3 fine lodges in the Coyhaique region. Depending on the airline's schedules, there could be time for some fishing before dinner!

The next two days will be spent fishing on day-trips from the lodge, and on the third day we will fish our way to a campsite set up by Jose's staff, where we'll have a hot, streamside barbeque lunch and then be free to fish right through the evening hatch before dining and turning in to the comfortable, above-ground cots inside our tents. The next day and night and the day after that are spent fishing the area around the camp, returning after these three idyllic days to the lodge. Our final day of fishing will be a last day-trip from the lodge with a final evening of fine dining at the lodge. The next morning Jose's staff will return us to the airport.

The week's fishing hosted by Altamont Anglers will undoubtedly be too short a stay to satisfy most travelers who, having traveled so far, will want to spend more time experiencing all that Chile has to offer. Whether staying in the Coyhaique area for more fishing or camping, returning to Santiago for the urban Chilean experience, or venturing afield to explore the country, your week of fishing in Coyaique with Teo will surely be remembered as the heart of your stay in Chile.

The package price of $3500 (based on double occupancy) includes 7 nights and 6 days guided fishing, with optional 1 to 3 day camping trip. All transfers to and from airport and fishing locations, lodging, breakfast, lunch and dinner with Chilean wine.
Not included: Airfare, fishing license, flies, tackle, hard liquor and gratuities.

Dates will be determined by Jose's availability and the necessary commitment from 4 willing clients (the necessary requirement for Teo's participation).

You can learn more, see pictures, read testimonials and email past customers of Jose Marti's operation by visiting his website, Chile on the Fly.
