Dave Watson's a lucky guy. He has a family that loves him so much they gave him a gift certificate for a half-day guided fishing trip provided by Altamont Anglers. Dave tried to redeem this certificate back in October, 2006, but after driving all the way up to Asheville from his home in Charlotte, NC the weather turned vile, with rain heavy enough to blow out the rivers, so we arranged for him to re-schedule the fishing. He finally got back up to the mountains this week, meeting Altamont Anglers guide Teo Whitlock for a much-awaited half day on the Davidson River. Judging by the photos, it was all worth the wait...
