ltamont Anglers Fly Fishing Guides prefers clients to book their trips as far in advance as possible, but we also pride ourselves in our ability to respond on short notice to our clients' needs. Such was the case when Dianne Madison called on May 6 hoping for a half-day trip the next day, a day on which we already had multiple bookings. AA guide Stephen Morris rose to the challenge and took Dianne & Co. to the Davidson River for a half-day of fly fishing instruction. We'll let Dianne tell the tale in her own words...

Wanted to thank you for the great day we spent with Stephen Morris today! You really hooked us up with a pro, and I appreciate that you were able to do so on short notice. Stephen has a great professional demeanor and was very helpful and patient with us as beginners. He answered every one of my neverending questions and talked us through catching fish after fish. On top of that, we had perfect weather and the gear you loaned us was exceptional. My goal was to show my client an excellent time and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you again and I'll look forward to future guided trips with Altamont Anglers.
Dianne sent us another email explaining how the fishing around her home in Gulf Breeze, FL generally produced different results than our local trout fishing, and sent us the photo below to prove it!
