Doug Williams, proud father to at least two strapping young men, put together a post-Christmas fishing trip while the family was celebrating the holidays near Asheville, NC. Altamont Anglers guide Teo Whitlock took Doug and his sons, Phil and Dan, over to one of our favorite Delayed Harvest streams, the Laurel River, for a day of fly fishing instruction and it appears from the evidence retrieved from the camera that Dan and Phil must have been good students. The lack of any photographic evidence of Doug's success doesn't necessarily mean he was unsuccessful--the camera might just have been up or downstream from where he caught that monster...
