The father/son fishing trip is becoming a familier theme here at Altamont Anglers: Team Huebner followed right on the heels of Team Devereux's trip back in April (both father/son teams were guided by Altamont Anglers guide Teo Whitlock). Then, on May 19, we had a tandem of father/son teams, with Teo Whitlock guiding team Godfrey, and Altamont Anglers guide Travis Honeycutt guiding team Murphree .

Teo took Steve and Grason Godfrey over to the Davidson River for their half-day of fly fishing instruction, and they appear to have learned quickly, judging by the pictures. Steve later shared his impressions with us: "What can be said that's hasn't already been said. Your reputation is stellar but your actual service exceeds your reputation. Teo was a wonderful guide. He was very patient with two novice anglers, answering our many questions some probably twice or more , describing before we arrived at our fishing location all that would be taking place, fishing methods, flies , fish variety etc…as well a gracious host for lunch. Next trip we're eating lunch on the fly , pun intended, the fishing is too good to stop! Thanks again and we'll be back as soon as possible!!"
