Ken Peterson loves to fish, and the Altamont Anglers are glad he does! Ken fishes all year, mostly for bass (check him out here, and here), but he's been getting more interested int the trout fishing and invited his friend Gordon Kay to give it a try in December.
Altamont Anglers guide Teo Whitlock took Ken and Gordon for a float down the South Holston River, introducing Gordon to his first fly fishing experience. Here's what Gordon had to say when he sent us these pictures:

Thanks for a most pleasurable day on the South Holston. Ken Peterson said
it would be great and it was! You did a wonderful job of showing us both
ways to improve our fishing and they definitely worked. Hope you can use
some of these pictures. Sorry we didn't land the lunker. We will just have
to try again. Ken also said tou are the best guide on the (name redacted) River for
small mouth bass. I hope we can try that too."
