Altamont Anglers guide Teo Whitlock holds the giant brown caught by his client, Laura Luttrell (click to enlarge)
Laura Luttrell is what they call a "quick study"--she caught that monster brown on the left the first time she ever went fly fishing!
She must have been paying close attention to the instructions from her guide, but good advice alone is not enough to hook, play and land a trout like that: there has to be a little bit of natural talent at work.
Laura's husband, Scott Luttrell, has been fishing with Altamont Anglers for years (our favorite clients are those that keep coming back for more) and we're happy to see him including the rest of the family in his fun. Along with this picture, Scott sent us this email:Here is the picture of the fish that my wife (Laura) caught yesterday. It was her first time fly fishing and Teo was very patient and helpful with her. She had a great time. Thanks!
Hopefully, Laura will be back for more. To see some more of Scott's fishing with the Altamont Anglers, visit here, or here, or here. >
