Mike McBee called from his home on the shores of Kentucky Lake to book a couple of days of float trips. Due to the power generation scheduled by the TVA the two days of floating became one day of walking and wading and one day of floating the South Holston, but he and his wife Karen made the best of it, judging by the following photos. Altamont Anglers' guide Teo Whitlock carried them over the mountain to Bluff City, TN each of the two days in May for some fine technical fly fishing, South Holston style.
