Mike Jones brought the family up to Asheville from their home in Gainesville, FL over the week of July 24 and booked a half-day of fly fishing instruction with Altamont Anglers. AA guide Forest Marshall drew the professorial duties and took them to our favorite fly fishing "campus", the Davidson River. It's a great place to take beginners, and they seem to have learned their lessons well, as the pictures below attest.
