One of the nicest things about guiding fly fishers is the relationships developed over time. Customers who fish only a couple of times a year, but return year after year, become "special" guests whose return visits we look forward to with pleasure. Pete Post is such a client, whose business brings him to Asheville a couple of times a year and who first fished with us in back in '05, returned in the Spring of 2006 and again (with his son-in-law David) in the fall of 2006  and again on April 2, 2007. Altamont Anglers guide Teo Whitlock has managed to find fertile new waters for each of Pete's visits (so far) and on this last occasion treated Pete to the surprises of the Davidson River. They started on the lower stretches of the fly-only section and worked they're way up to the "grand finale" water on the upper end of the river, with apparent success.
