AA guide Teo Whitlock holds a beautiful rainbow trout caught by his client, Scott Staley, on the Davidson River, April 24, 2009 (click image for larger view).
It's becoming more the rule than an expection that our guides are paid the highest compliment by their clients, that of the return trip. Whenever an outing inspires a repeat experience, the guides know they've done their job, and it seems AA guide Teo Whitlock did his job back in April, 2007 when Pam and Scott Staley first booked a trip with Altamont Anglers. It took awhile, but they finally made it back for more on Friday, April 24.
Teo took the Staleys over to the Davidson River, where--in his words--they "messed 'em up". We don't really think the fish on the left looks all that messed up, and we know it was released safely to the stream, but it does look like a mighty handsome rainbow trout!

They Coulda Been Contenders!
Or wall-hangers--but we released them all!!
