Scott Stankavage plays a kinder, gentler form of sports these days than he did during his tenure as a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys. That is unless you're a trout. If you're a trout, you might want to stay safely in the pocket, far from the reach of Scott's mean roll cast. The trout on the Tuckasegee River, not far from Asheville, NC were terrorized by Scott and his buddy, Ed, on Saturday, May 5, 2007 when he redeemed the Gift Certificate for a half-day's guided fishing he'd received from his wife, Katherine. Altamont Anglers' guide Stephen Morris targeted the Tuckasegee River for the day's outing and, despite the rain, Scott and Ed managed to flush a ton of trout from their pockets into Stephen's waiting net.
